Life Insurance
At no cost, employees receive life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance
equal to two (2) times their base salary (up to $500,000). This plan offers an accelerated death
benefit, which states that when a person is given less than 6 months to live,
up to 50% of the insured amount may be taken ahead of time.
Eligible employees have the option to purchase additional life and AD&D coverage for themselves and their dependents.
Short-Term Disability
Short-term disability coverage is automatically provided and fully paid for
by CTSC. During a short-term disability, an employee's compensation will be
continued at 60% of regular salary level for a maximum of 13 weeks.
Long-Term Disability
CTSC provides at no cost to the employee a long-term disability benefit equal
to 60% of regular salary. An employee may be eligible for long-term disability
after completing 13 weeks of short-term disability, which continues to age 65. Eligible employees have the option to purchase supplemental income protection for the employee which pays benefits in addition to the current long-term disability coverage. The employee supplemental coverage paid by the employee is tax-free and portable if the employee leaves CTSC.
