Vice President of Operations-- 10575KO -

Basic Function: Provides overall direction and guidance to the operational activities of the organization with the objective of maximizing growth and profitability as well as day-to-day leadership and management to all company operations functions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Manages organization operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies. 2. Implements programs to ensure attainment of business plan for growth and profit. 3. Provides direction and structure for operating units. 4. Implements improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization. 5. Develop and create strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals. 6. Provide mentoring and guidance to subordinates and other employees. 7. Follows direction set by Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors.

Supervision Exercised: The Vice President of Operations directly supervises Directors and General Managers. Responsible for overall management to achieve customer satisfaction. Must interpret policies, purposes, and goals of the organization for subordinates. Responsible for subordinate employees’ performance reviews

Supervision Received: Reports to the President/CEO of CTSC.

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Use of computer and office equipment. Moderate travel may be required. Performs all administrative functions expected at this level.

Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships with staff and partners. Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Ability to successfully work to reach company goals in an environment in which a wide degree of creativity and latitude is required of this position.

Education: Related Bachelor’s degree, MBA or Masters Degree preferred.

Experience: 15 or more years of experience in increasingly responsible management positions where excellent contract performance and employee management skills have been emphasized. Must have demonstrated ability to effectively lead a $200M business. Progressive experience in professional services industry business. Prior experience demonstrating effective management skills, knowledge of the Government services business sector.
